Distributed Control System Engineer

System Engineer to 2-3yrs (DSC/PLC/HMI)

Roles and Responsibilities

 Overall responsible for the complete technical requirements of the project, and technical delivery

of the project hands on experience.

 Read customer RFQ, Table of Compliance from complete technical requirement point of view.

 Preparation of KOM and its related documents

 Identification of the Risks and Opportunities on the technical side at the initial stage of projects

 Coordinating with the internal cross functional team like factory, procurements, Software,

Engineering etc.

 Prepare bill of material, functional design documents

 Design system architecture

 Responsible for engineering deliverables and ensure standard engineering practice

 Understand required prerequisites / design inputs required from the customer and their timelines

for meeting required project schedule

 Understand and document the detailed project schedule technical activities along with

interdependencies.

 Integrate various deliverables from different delivery centers (like instrumentation engineering,

controls engineering, software engineering) into a format as required by the customer

 Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality,

standards, quality, and supporting documentation

 Handle entire technical communications with the customer till final close out of the project

 Review the estimates provided by different delivery centers

 Get technical query resolutions from the customer

 Attend customer meetings for seeking query resolutions, drawings / documents approval, QAP

Approval ,technical change order approvals

 Driving Change orders using the technical scope.

 Approval of vendors drawings, advise to PM on giving Manufacturing clearance, dispatch

clearance to the vendors.

 Reports technical progress and technical problems to PM.

 Technically Supporting to PM for the billing of milestone payments and collection

 Identify technical risks and suggest mitigations during project schedule

 Interact with vendors for technical requirements, technically review offers

 Interact with I&C contractor for defining I&C scope, checking I&C progress, listing balance I&C

activities

 Conduct FAT and SAT with customer

 Forecast resource requirements in the project

 Responsible for adherence to HSE Policy and Guidelines at office area as well as project sites.

 Assist project manager for technically closing the site
