The Opportunity: Shaping the Future of Design

As the Director of Event Sales, you will be the strategic architect of our revenue growth. You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing major corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations. This role is not just about sales; it's about building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with some of the world's largest corporations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on securing major corporate sponsorships for both the India Designer Show and India Design Awards.
  • Corporate Sponsorship Acquisition:

    Identify and engage with C-suite executives and key decision-makers at leading corporations to secure high-value partnerships.
  • Team Management:

    Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting ambitious targets and providing the guidance and support needed to achieve them.
  • Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners, ensuring their objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Market Analysis:

    Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine our sales approach.
  • Financial Oversight:

    Manage sales budgets and provide accurate forecasts and reports to the executive team.


What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in event sales, with a specific focus on securing corporate sponsorships.

    You should have a proven track record of closing six and seven-figure deals.
  • Exceptional leadership skills

    and the ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
  • A vast network of corporate contacts

    and a deep understanding of the corporate sponsorship landscape.
  • Superior negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • A strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • A passion for the design and events industries.
