Job Description

We are looking for a skilled finance professional with 10-18 years of experience to lead our financial team as the Director of Finance in Fairmont. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent leadership and management skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and bankers.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and risk management.
