Director - Global Strategy

We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our Global Group Strategy team, working closely with the Group CEO, CBO, and CXOs worldwide. This Director role will play a critical part in shaping and executing the company’s long-term growth agenda, driving global expansion, steering in organic opportunities, optimizing capital efficiency, and leading transformative programs that create sustainable enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities Shaping Global Strategy:

• Define and drive global growth strategy in partnership with the Group CEO and CXO leadership teams,leading end-to-end strategic assessments across markets, products, and business lines.
• Lead the development of actionable strategic blueprints, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and value creation goals.
• Oversee comprehensive risk assessment frameworks and implement proactive mitigation strategies at the enterprise level.
• Chair and influence high-level CEO committees (finance, management, governance), ensuring decisions translate into execution across business units.

Inorganic Growth & M&A:

• Originate, evaluate, and execute M&A; and strategic partnership opportunities, including global market scans and thesis creation.
• Lead commercial due diligence and financial modeling, partnering with legal, finance, tax, HR, and operations to ensure robust deal evaluation.
• Negotiate and finalize commercial terms and integration frameworks.
• Drive post-merger integration programs, ensuring delivery of 100-day,200-day, and 1-yearsynergy realization plans.

Business Transformation & Operational Excellence:

• Champion cross-business transformation initiatives, improving efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
• Lead digital and operational excellence programs that enhance customer experience, cost structure, and business agility.
• Ensure seamless execution of critical enterprise-wide projects in alignment with global strategic priorities.

Investor & Board Engagement:

• Partner with the CFO and Group CEO on investor relations, board updates, and strategy communications.
• Deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and datasets that influence decision-making across institutional investors and the board.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven expertise in strategy leadership, M&A; execution, and business transformation at scale.
• Strong analytical acumen with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities; strong command of three-statement models.
• Demonstrated experience engaging at Board and CXO level, influencing decisions across geographies.
• Track record of delivering post-merger integration and large-scale transformation outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership mindset, resilience in ambiguity, and ability to lead large, cross-functional teams globally.

Qualifications:

• MBA from a premier institution (preferred) or equivalent advanced degree.
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or global corporate strategy/PMO leadership roles.
• Prior exposure to large-scale M&A;, private equity-style value creation programs, and global CXO-level engagements.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
