Job Description

As a Deal Strategy Leader at our Global Center of Excellence, your role will involve building, developing, and leading a high-performing team of deal strategy pricing professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers top-notch deal structuring and pricing support to our business across various countries, industries, and verticals. Additionally, you will play a key role in recommending new pricing strategies to expand our company's reach within different sales segments and scaling our Deal Strategy function internally. **Responsibilities:** - Build, hire, and manage the Center of Excellence (CoE) Deal Strategy function in [Hyderabad/Mexico City] - Drive the implementation of the CoE strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common program management methodology - Lead the execution of a CoE governance, reporting, and review framework - Implement strategic plans to optimize operational performance with appropriate controls and processes - Lead, motivate, and mentor the team while monitoring performance and fostering ongoing professional development - Review, manage, and approve pricing escalations for complex deals - Provide thought leadership to develop innovative deal structures and manage risk within contractual terms - Develop best practices for pricing and business terms based on data and market knowledge - Partner with product teams on optimal pricing models and strategies for new products and bundled solutions - Collaborate with Sales leadership to effectively coordinate and manage deal closure - Create sales enablement materials to train Sales on best practices for product pricing and positioning - Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations departments to optimize contract terms and close deals - Ensure compliance with internal controls In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to have the following skills and experience: - 16+ years of professional work experience, including 7+ years of people management experience - Strong analytical background with experience in profitability analysis and pricing strategy - Extensive experience in deal management pricing approval and/or services risk review - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to explain concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization - High level of fluency in English - Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively to drive results - High attention to detail - Hands-on approach - Aptitude to learn and foster AI tools to enhance team productivity - Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast-paced business This role offers you the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to senior executives, contribute to our company's overall success, and play a crucial part in shaping the future of our Deal Strategy function.,
