Zonal Head About the team & Role A Zonal Head role entails category management based on deep customer centricity, strong analytics, sharp planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech understanding for an enhanced customer experience You are responsible for: What this job entails: Customer understanding • Be the voice of the customer internally • Understand needs - even those that the customers themselves may not realize Stay on top of changing trends and strategic priorities through in-depth data analysis to predict customer behavior CVP Strengthening Selection Identification of Local KVIS, Selection completion Local occasions/ festive selection identification and curation Local Selection Merchandising: Making the GHP city specific Pricing Ensuring selection is rightfully priced (Building and executing excellent local price understanding - Offline + Online) Local Market Grocer ricci and response Local Demand Generation Identification of relevant customer catchments (Penetration High /Mid /Low) Identify local marketing vendors for local demand activations Tapping local demand generation/ marketing avenues (Festivals, Publishers, Mela etc.) Customer/competition response Identify local customer Feedback (Delivery /Breach/Quality) Identify competitive activity/Local activation /competitive marketing aggression and response Efficient local demand activation (Societies, door2door) Strong Execution and Active collaboration across teams Bridge between ground team and Team in HO (Sell, Instock, Buy, Merch) Tracking the city-cluster growth and metric adherence of City managers. Tracking the growth of the rest (non-focus) of the cities Budget deployment and evaluation for local marketing Basket offer management for regulation Conversion & AOV Coordination with Sell/Central teams/BD/Instock teams for implementation of Growth levers • Educational background - Graduation, MBA is preferred (4-5 years of experience required preferably in FMCG, eCommerce and Start-up ecosystem) • Desire and ability to think like the customer • Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion • Highly analytical (comfortable with data analysis/analytics) • Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category • Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills • Strong understanding of technology and business • Must be willing to learn • Ability to connect with people across teams & levels
