Director – Relationship Manager, Private Wealth

Role Overview

This role is meant for a seasoned private-wealth professional who understands the nuances of managing and growing Ultra HNI and HNI relationships. The Director will be responsible for end-to-end client advisory, portfolio construction, and business development while upholding the values of trust, transparency, and long-term wealth stewardship that define Wise Finserv.

You will be the face of the firm for some of our most valued families, ensuring that their portfolios are resilient, tax-efficient, and aligned with their goals across market cycles.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Growth

  • Acquire new HNI and Ultra HNI clients through a deep network, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Strengthen relationships with promoters, CXOs, senior professionals, and business families.
  • Drive AUM growth by identifying opportunities across mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, insurance solutions, and global products.

Portfolio Strategy & Advisory

  • Build customised asset-allocation frameworks tailored to each client’s risk appetite and life goals.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews using Wise Finserv’s Wealth Model and research-driven insights.
  • Guide clients on market events, interest-rate cycles, equity valuations, tax changes, and estate-planning strategies.
  • Work closely with the Product & Research team to deliver best-in-class investment recommendations.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain exceptional service standards with proactive communication and timely resolution of queries.
  • Engage with multiple generations of client families to strengthen continuity and trust.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—Research, Operations, Compliance—to deliver seamless execution.

Business Leadership

  • Mentor a small team of Wealth Managers as the business scales.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives, new product development, and client-engagement events.
  • Uphold compliance, documentation standards, and risk protocols as per SEBI and internal guidelines.



Required Experience

  • 10–18 years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management.
  • Proven track record of managing HNI / Ultra HNI clients with strong AUM movement.
  • Strong understanding of multi-asset advisory: equity, debt, PMS, AIF, global investing, estate planning, and insurance.
  • Ability to engage senior-level stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and product suitability norms.
