Job Description

We are seeking someone to join our team as a Team supervisor in Client Onboarding and Regulatory Services (CORDS) to help drive strategic initiatives within Client Reference Data.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationship. What You'll Do In The Role

  • Authorising settlement instructions updated in Agent Bank and SIREN.
  • Completion of Firm instruction updates
  • Authorising confirmation updates in Flexcon (FC3)
  • Quality checking the creation and maintenance of client accounts
  • Risk management through the daily review of priority clients, adhering to benchmarks and Service Level Agreements.
  • Escalate potential issues to the team manager.
  • Recommend opportunities to increase efficiency / productivity through analysing resource and system usage, and identifying processing weaknesses.
  • Ensure team is accurately tracking & processing and carrying out Supervisory checks for every request validated by the team.
  • To ensure any queries and stakeholders requests are communicated appropriately to the relevant individuals/teams and to escalate any issues which could have an impact on the firm's franchise.
  • Adept at managing large team sizes ranging from 10-25 team members, handling processes and projects
  • Manage performance management cycle for the team by conducting regular 1 to 1's with Team members to address the areas of career development, training, performance and business processing

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Ensure reduction of errors by maintaining appropriate controls.
  • Conduct deep dive reviews on the incidents, aiming to analyze root causes and put forward suggestions for remediation.
  • Manage key global stakeholder relationships and proactively identify and implement tactical and strategic opportunities to enhance the existing experience. This will involve working closely with teams outside including business units, settlements and technology.
  • Mentoring team members including new recruits by providing adequate insights which enables smooth functioning of day to day activities and ensure best practice is implemented as part of the Team's daily processing requirement, > Education: Industry qualifications i.e. Securities Institute or Bachelors Degree & Tech Savvy
  • 8-10 years of Experience in Financial Industry
  • Project management experience an added advantage
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Operations experience and basic understanding of products.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills
  • Strong Communication (Writing and Verbal) Skills. Effective interaction with others across departments and regions
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, and/or other relevant applications
  • Ability to quickly digest new information and learn new businesses and processes
  • Attention to details, Work independently & Proactive and self-motivated
