Role Overview:- As the Director - Brand Marketing , you will oversee the comprehensive brand marketing strategy for Swiggy’s Food Marketplace business unit across India. This is a high-impact leadership role aimed at driving consumer engagement and loyalty through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies. You will lead the execution of national and regional campaigns, ensuring that Swiggy delivers consistent, memorable, and impactful brand experiences. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, creative agencies, and external partners will be integral to achieving Swiggy’s growth and business objectives. Core Responsibilities 1. Brand Marketing Leadership Own and lead the overall brand marketing strategy, defining both short-term goals and long-term vision for Swiggy’s Food Marketplace. Strategize and execute impactful brand interventions to elevate Swiggy’s brand affinity and consumer preference within the competitive food delivery landscape. 2. Annualized Marketing Calendar Develop and deliver an annual marketing plan that includes the following: Creative Communication: Create resonating campaign messages that amplify Swiggy’s brand story and connect with diverse audiences nationwide. Media Planning: Execute multi-channel media campaigns encompassing ATL (TV, radio, print, outdoor) and BTL (digital, social, influencer, experiential marketing). Partnerships: Foster co-branded and strategic collaborations to enhance consumer value and amplify brand reach. Collaborative Campaigns: Execute co-funded campaigns in partnership with restaurants and other key stakeholders. Activations: Drive partner restaurant activations to boost brand engagement and strengthen business relationships. 3. Regional Marketing Strategy Build and execute an effective regional marketing charter that dives deeply into the consumer dynamics of specific geographies. Develop a regional playbook tailored to address local preferences, enabling Swiggy to win in micro-markets. 4. Consumer Insights and Strategy Development Collaborate with Swiggy’s Consumer Insights Team to deeply understand consumer behavior at both the national and regional levels. Leverage these insights to develop actionable strategies that resonate with Swiggy’s wide user base and underpin key brand interventions. Adopt an insights-driven decision-making process across all marketing and branding efforts. 5. Long-Term Campaign Development Conceptualize and deliver long-term campaigns that position Swiggy as the most loved food delivery partner in India. Partner with internal stakeholders such as central growth teams, creative agencies, and digital experts to ensure successful rollouts. Innovate compelling strategies to drive consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement. 6. Impact Measurement Work closely with Swiggy’s Brand Insights & Analytics Team to measure the efficacy of campaigns on core brand health metrics at both the regional and national levels. Continuously refine and optimize campaigns based on performance data and insights for improved outcomes. Requirements 1.Experience 9-15 years of marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in senior brand marketing roles. MBA in Marketing (or related specialization) from a reputed institute is highly desirable. Experience in fast-paced industries like food & beverage, FMCG, e-commerce, or digital platforms is a significant advantage. 2.Creative and Strategic Expertise Proven expertise in developing innovative and emotionally resonating campaigns. Adept at managing creative agencies and making decisions on campaign narratives, quality, and direction. 3.Campaign Management Strong experience in managing 360-degree ATL and BTL campaigns for consumer-focused brands. Demonstrated success in regional marketing campaigns with a deep understanding of India’s diverse geography and cultural dynamics. 4.Project Management and Stakeholder Collaboration Exceptional project management abilities to handle complex, multi-stakeholder projects efficiently. Capable of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders like growth teams, agencies, and restaurant partners. 5.Innovation and Out-of-the-Box Thinking A track record of launching disruptive, creative ideas that push conventional boundaries and deliver business impact. 6.Leadership and Team Collaboration Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire collaboration and drive performance in a hybrid work environment. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners effectively. 7.Critical Thinking and Adaptability Data-driven mindset with excellent critical thinking skills to adapt strategies based on insights and outcomes.
