Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director – AI SEO Expert to lead our SEO strategy with a strong focus on AI-driven optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in technical SEO, content intelligence, large-scale search optimization, and AI-powered growth strategies. This role requires a visionary leader who can combine traditional SEO fundamentals with modern AI tools to drive sustainable organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven SEO Strategy & Leadership

Develop and lead the overall AI-powered SEO strategy across all digital platforms.
Integrate AI/ML tools to automate keyword research, content planning, clustering, and SERP optimization.
Identify AI-based opportunities to scale SEO through predictive analytics and automated insights.

Technical SEO Excellence

Conduct advanced technical SEO audits, site speed improvements, schema implementation, and crawl optimization.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure search-friendly architecture, log-file analysis, and site health optimization.
Oversee large-scale indexation, core web vitals, and mobile optimization.

Content + AI Optimization

Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper, Surfer SEO, Frase, Clearscope, etc.) to guide content planning, generation, and optimization.
Oversee content clusters, topical authority mapping, and AI-assisted content briefs.
Ensure all content aligns with E-E-A-T and Google search quality guidelines.

Leadership, Reporting & Collaboration

Lead and mentor the entire SEO team (technical, on-page, off-page, content, analytics).
Collaborate with Product, Dev, Analytics, and Marketing leadership teams.
Build forecasting models, growth roadmaps, and monthly performance dashboards using AI analytics.

Search Innovation & Growth

Stay ahead of trends in Search Generative Experience (SGE), voice search, entity-based SEO, and semantic search.
Experiment with automation, custom AI models, and new search technologies.
Drive organic growth KPIs including traffic, rankings, conversions, and revenue impact.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years in SEO with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles (Head/Director/Lead SEO).
Strong expertise using AI-powered SEO tools, automation, and machine learning workflows.
Deep understanding of Google algorithms, semantic SEO, SGE, and LLM-based search behavior.
Proven track record of driving organic growth for large websites or global brands.
Strong knowledge of:
Technical SEO
Advanced keyword strategy
Site architecture & schema
Analytics (GA4, GSC, Looker, BigQuery)
AI-assisted content optimization
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in digital agencies or global SEO environments.
Knowledge of Python scripts for SEO automation (bonus).
Experience with enterprise-level SEO platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Conductor, Botify).
Experience integrating AI/ML into search workflows.
