Job Summary:
BIG Socials is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kochi. This role will be pivotal in developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate qualified leads, and ultimately increase sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, with proven expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management, and broader digital marketing principles. You will be responsible for executing campaigns across various digital channels, analyzing performance, and providing data-driven insights to optimize our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Paid Advertising (Google Ads & Meta Ads):
- Develop, implement, and manage paid search (Google Ads), display, video, and shopping campaigns from strategy to execution.
- Create and optimize compelling ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters to maximize ROI and achieve campaign goals.
- Manage budgets effectively, monitor campaign performance, and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features, best practices, and algorithm updates for Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify areas for on-page and off-page SEO improvements.
- Perform in-depth keyword research and develop content strategies to target relevant search queries.
- Implement on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags, headings, content optimization, internal linking, and URL structure.
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical and effective strategies.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and identify trends and opportunities.
- Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) aligned with marketing objectives.
- Create engaging and relevant content (text, images, videos) that resonates with target audiences and builds brand presence.
- Manage social media calendars, scheduling tools, and community engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Implement social media advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) as needed.
- Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall digital marketing strategy.
- Identify and evaluate new digital marketing channels and technologies to improve performance.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members and stakeholders to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital marketing channels.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing techniques.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track, measure, and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/ Certification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrable expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Shopping), with a strong understanding of campaign structure, keyword research, and bidding strategies. Google Ads certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns, including audience targeting, creative optimization, and pixel implementation.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and keyword research tools.
- Experience in managing and growing social media presence across various platforms, including content creation, community engagement, and social media advertising.
- Proficiency in using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and analyze campaign performance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with other digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing, CRM) is a plus.
