Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Campaign Management

●      Collaborate with the content strategist and other stakeholders to develop a data-driven digital marketing strategy that aligns with the institution's enrollment goals.

●      Manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including paid search (PPC), social media advertising, email marketing, and display advertising. Manage and allocate digital marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI and KPIs.

Content and Brand Promotion

●      Work with the content strategist to create and distribute engaging and high-quality content across all digital channels (website, social media, blogs, email newsletters, etc.)

●      Develop and manage the college's social media presence to build an engaged community of prospective students, parents, and industry professionals.

Search Engine Optimization & Web Presence

●      Implement SEO best practices to improve the college's website ranking and organic visibility.

●      Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports and actionable insights. Optimize website landing pages and UX to improve lead generation and conversions.

Lead Generation and Nurturing

●      Design and implement lead generation campaigns to capture contact information from prospective students.

●      Develop and execute email marketing funnels to nurture leads from initial inquiry to application.

●      Analyze lead data to identify trends and optimize campaigns for higher conversion rates.

Analytics and Reporting

●      Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs).

●      Prepare and present regular reports to the stakeholders or reporting manager on campaign performance and future recommendations.

●      Conduct competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience

●      1-3 years of proven experience in a digital marketing role, preferably within the education, EdTech, or a related industry.

●      Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.

●      Proven track record of managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) with a focus on lead generation and conversion.

Technical Skills

●      Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and email marketing software.

●      Tools – SEMrush, Ahrefs

●      Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress

Soft Skills

●      Data-driven: Able to analyze data to make informed decisions.

●      Proactive: A self-starter who can work independently in a startup environment.

●      Collaborative: Works well in a small team and communicates effectively.

Desirable Skills

●      Experience in a new business launch or startup.

●      Familiarity with the higher education sector in India.

●      Knowledge of regional digital marketing trends.

●      Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
