Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Create original, engaging content (graphics, posts, reels, carousels, stories, captions) for Mission ONE’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest). 
  • Adapt long-form partner stories, blogs, and impact updates into short-form content optimized for social media. 
  • Maintain a consistent voice and visual identity aligned with Mission ONE’s brand and mission. 
  • Support consistent scheduling and publishing by coordinating deliverables in alignment with the content calendar. 

 

Social Media Engagement & Community Building

  • Publish content across all channels and actively engage with followers via comments, DMs, shares, and community interactions. 
  • Monitor trends and conversations relevant to global missions, Christian nonprofits, and donor engagement to join timely discussions. 
  • Highlight donor stories, celebrate milestones, and amplify partner voices to build a strong online community. 
  • Track engagement metrics (followers, reach, engagement rate, shares, saves) and propose strategies for growth. 

 

Digital Campaigns & Advertising

  • Assist in the planning and execution of digital campaigns (e.g., Giving Tuesday, End-of-Year Appeal, project appeals, donor acquisition ads). 
  • Manage and optimize Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other digital advertising platforms for donor acquisition, retargeting, and engagement. 
  • Update landing pages, donation forms, and digital assets using tools such as Classy and Meta Business Suite. 

 

Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare and present regular reports on campaign and social media performance. 
  • Use analytics to refine content strategies and improve engagement, conversions, and ROI. 

 

Collaboration & Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Communications Manager to align all digital efforts with Mission ONE’s fundraising and engagement goals. 
  • Work with the Engagement Coordinator and Development team to support donor-focused communications. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing and/or managing social media accounts. 
  • Proven ability to create engaging, visually compelling content;

    portfolio of examples required

    (social posts, reels, campaigns, graphics, videos). 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Canva (or Adobe Creative Suite), Later, and email marketing platforms. 
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt for different audiences and platforms. 
  • Solid understanding of current social media best practices, engagement strategies, and analytics. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a remote environment. 

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with nonprofits or faith-based organizations. 
  • Video editing and photography skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Create Suite, Opus Clip, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of SEO, SMS marketing, and marketing automation workflows.
