About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and automation-focused DevOps Engineer where you will be responsible for building robust, secure, and efficient pipelines that empower our development teams to deliver value rapidly and reliably across multiple customer tenants. If you are passionate about automating everything and thrive in a collaborative, remote environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Architecture & Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient CI/CD YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps for Power Platform solutions.
  • Automation & Tooling: Automate the packaging, unpacking, and deployment of Dataverse solutions using PAC CLI and PowerShell scripts.
  • Environment Management: Provision, manage, and tear down development, test, and production environments through automation.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices by managing service principals, connection references, and secrets through Azure Key Vault. Implement quality gates and integrate security scanning tools into the pipelines.
  • Release Management: Manage artifact versioning using semantic versioning and oversee the release process across different tenant environments.
  • Component Ownership: Support the build and release process for Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components, including managing npm feeds.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor deployment health using logs and alerts. Create and maintain detailed runbooks, ensuring clear rollback procedures are defined and tested.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Power Apps developers to understand model-driven app requirements and Dataverse schema changes, ensuring smooth integration into the ALM process.

What You Bring (Must-Have Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or CI/CD Automation role.
  • Strong proficiency with Git (branching strategies, pull requests) and Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML).
  • Expert scripting skills in PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with the Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI) for ALM operations.
  • Basic Azure Administration skills, particularly with Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
  • A solid understanding of Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Dataverse solutions, and environment strategy.
  • Experience integrating security scanning tools (e.g., SonarCloud, Checkmarx) into pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-managed work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have (Strongly Preferred)

  • Development Experience: Hands-on experience as a Power Apps developer (especially model-driven apps).
  • PCF & TypeScript: Familiarity with building and debugging PCF components and fundamental TypeScript knowledge.
  • Microsoft Teams Apps: Experience with developing, deploying, or integrating Microsoft Teams apps (Tabs, SSO) using Teams Toolkit.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Exposure to IaC principles and tools like Bicep or Terraform.
  • Observability: Experience configuring and using Azure Application Insights for monitoring and diagnostics.
