DevOps Engineer

At Pentimenti.ai, we're building the next generation of AI-powered solutions. We're looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help scale our infrastructure as we expand our capabilities and customer base.

Position Overview

• We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1-1.5 years of experience to support our development and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming fundamentals and cloud infrastructure, particularly with Azure services. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can bridge the gap between development and operations while implementing best practices for continuous integration and deployment.

  This position is exclusively for candidates who can start within 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Configure and manage Azure App Service deployments
• Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring systems for APIs, applications, and resources
• Track and analyze cloud logs (including CloudTrail logs) for debugging and performance optimization
• Assist in estimating costs for new resources and services
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build and deployment processes
• Support infrastructure scaling as the company grows

Mandatory Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 1-1.5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role
• Fundamental understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms
• Working knowledge of Python and FastAPI
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Service and GitHub deployments
• Ability to set up and configure monitoring systems for APIs and resources (CPU, memory, etc.)
• Experience with log analysis and debugging production issues
• A solid understanding of configuring and managing databases (MySQL, Mongo) and SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting
• Have Deeper understanding of microservices and develop the ability to set up service-to-service communications.

• Must be available for immediate joining (within 2 weeks)

Preferred Skills

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
• Proficiency with containerisation using Docker and Docker Compose for development
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
• Knowledge of static code scanning tools and dependency vulnerability scanners
• Able to write internal libraries on requirement
• Understanding of customer requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Experience with defining and tracking project KPIs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
