About The Team

The DevOps Team works alongside developers and is responsible for improving our tooling andprocesses for release management, software delivery, and software observability. As a DevOpsEngineer, you’ll focus on the operational perspective and collaborate closely with our softwaredevelopers to find an optimal solution that will safely and quickly deliver code to the varioussupported environments (cloud and on-premises).

What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Create tooling to automate the release processes.
• Create tooling to ease the installation and updates of our software.
• Create tooling to increase the observability of our software in the field.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support a mix of self-managed and cloud customers all around the world.
• Set up and configure new customer environments both in the cloud and on-premises.
• Participate in regular rotations for weekday and weekend on-call coverage (daytime
  

only), providing emergency support to our self-managed and cloud customers.

• Debug complex problems across the whole stack.
  

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent
  

practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, reliability engineering, software engineering, or
  

systems engineering.

• The ability to write high-quality code in a high-level programming language (e.g., Go,
  

Ruby, Python).

• You’re an expert in operating and administrating Linux environments.
• You have hands-on experience using cloud infrastructure (Azure,AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• You have hands-on experience using infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• You have experience being on-call and can jump into a complex situation and make
  

sense of and communicate clearly with stakeholders what's going on.

• You have Ruby on Rails knowledge and are fluent in the Rails console, or you're
  

proficient in working with another MVC framework (Django, Laravel or others) and will
be able to pick up Rails quickly.

• You’re experienced with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Proficient in speaking and writing in English
