Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer at MGSC IT Solutions Private Limited. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux management. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments. Integrate Jenkins with version control systems (Git, SVN, Bitbucket) , build tools (Maven, Gradle) , and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) . Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef) . Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD workflows and Jenkins infrastructure. Implement security best practices for Jenkins (role-based access, credentials management). Optimize build and deployment performance by reducing pipeline execution time. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve CI/CD processes. Monitor Jenkins jobs and set up logging, alerts, and reporting (using tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). Maintain and scale Jenkins infrastructure (master/agent setup, high availability). Document CI/CD processes and provide training to team members. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in Jenkins CI/CD pipeline development . Strong knowledge of Groovy scripting for Jenkins pipelines (Declarative & Scripted). Experience with source code management (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) . Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting (Bash/Python). Familiarity with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible. Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex CI/CD issues. Knowledge of security scanning tools (SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Snyk). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Should have knowledge about creating virtual environments on Linux and Windows. Optional: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their CI/CD integrations. Show more Show less
