DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer with DevOps practices, tools, and environments. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, and automation tools. You will support the DevOps team in maintaining and improving deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Support containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (basic knowledge).
• Help automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure.
• Participate in code deployments, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to ensure reliable and scalable operations.
• Maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Monitor systems and logs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Physical networking, DNS, DHCP, Hosting services related knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
• Exposure to scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the DevOps space.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices in DevOps.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹400,000.00 per year
