Job Description

Summary

Your role in our mission

Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for OutSystems applications and backend services hosted on AWS.
Define and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision and manage environments across AWS and PostgreSQL databases.
Oversee deployment and configuration management of cloud-native components (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, S3, ECS).
Ensure seamless integration of OutSystems Lifetime environments with AWS-hosted systems and services.
Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system performance, and availability.
Collaborate with development, QA and architecture teams to support scalable and resilient environments.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts for system reliability and uptime.
Enforce DevSecOps principles, ensuring all pipelines and infrastructure align with the requirements.
Coach and mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to establishing DevOps best practices across teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.
3+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS (PostgreSQL), Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Experience with PostgreSQL database configuration, performance tuning, and backup strategies.
Familiarity with OutSystems deployment lifecycle, environment management (Lifetime), and integration with external services.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Preferred / Bonus Experience

Knowledge of OutSystems DevOps APIs, environment promotion, and automated testing integration.
Familiarity with EDI data processing workflows or tools.
Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) and/or OutSystems certifications.
