Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in managing and optimizing complex cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, security protocols, GCP, and other essential DevOps tools and technologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our systems across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
  • Maintain and optimize Linux-based systems.
  • Ensure security through VPN, IP Tables, and Firewall configurations.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and on-premises environments.
  • Utilize microK8s and Helm for Kubernetes development and application deployment.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use GIT for version control and collaboration.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, and Datadog.
  • Integrate and manage build tools like Maven.
  • Write and maintain scripts in Python for automation.
  • Use orchestration tools like Apache Airflow for workflow management.
  • Ensure robust security practices for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of security practices including VPN, IP Tables, and Firewall.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with microK8s and Helm charts.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in GIT version control.
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, and Datadog.
  • Understanding of build tools like Maven.
  • Python scripting skills.
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience Level

Mid to Senior level (1-4 years of professional experience).

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
