Job Description

About the Role

Anchor is looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing infrastructure, automating deployments, ensuring system reliability, and improving CI/CD pipelines. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure security, compliance, and backup strategies are in place.
Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery and reliability.
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
Good understanding of networking, security, and system performance.

Preferred Skills

Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
