Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location:Hyderabad/Bangalore

Experience: 12+ Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 12 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and system automation. The ideal candidate will also have strong hands-on experience with SQL and database management to support application and infrastructure integration.

You will play a key role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and data teams to ensure seamless delivery of scalable and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and secure software delivery.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Administer and monitor cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline code deployment, testing, and release.
  • Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide support for production environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, perform data extraction and transformation for reporting or integration needs.
  • Ensure system and data security best practices are applied throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide leadership in DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools.
  • Experience in managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to data pipelines or ETL processes is a plus.
