About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Architect with deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platform architecture, infrastructure automation, security design, and CI/CD implementation. You will play a key role in architecting scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions, driving cloud adoption, and guiding teams through modern DevOps and platform engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for enterprise-scale applications.
Lead and manage migration of infrastructure/applications to hybrid and public cloud environments.
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related tools to accelerate delivery.
Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates.
Architect and implement containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
Design and enforce cloud security strategies, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
Support development teams in leveraging cloud-native services and integration solutions.
Oversee monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic).
Provide technical direction in DevSecOps, platform engineering, and cloud governance practices.
Conduct security assessments and audits, ensuring protection against vulnerabilities and threats.
Work closely with customers, product owners, and stakeholders on cloud strategy, trade-offs, and value propositions.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, instill best practices, and drive technical excellence across teams.
Required Technical Skills
Strong expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP ecosystems and services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ELB, etc.).
Proficiency in networking and network security (SSL/TLS, VPNs, IPSec tunnels).
Experience with web/application servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache) and load balancers.
Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Ant, Jira, SonarQube).
Proven skills in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Strong background in monitoring & observability (CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix).
Scripting proficiency in Groovy, Bash, Python.
Application development background in Java/.NET is desirable.
Exposure to microservices, API gateways, Active Directory, blue/green & canary deployments.
Prior cloud migration experience (on-prem to AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
12–17 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in Cloud & DevOps architecture.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes, Terraform) are highly desirable.
