YOUR TASKS
Development Project Planning
- Planning the product development process from RFQ phase until End of Process Validation. Monitoring the progress of the project. In the event of deviations from the targets propose and decide about adequate measures
- Ensuring project goals are accomplished within the given Quality, Costs, Time (QCT) constraints fulfilling internal and external requirements (e.g., legal, customer and internal, functional safety)
- Verifying the technical and commercial targets and highlighting options for respective risk management
- Creating appropriate schedules taking into account the overall schedule for a development project, including Design Readiness, validation and maturity documentation
- Defining the required development resources in consultation with the involved parties, including aspects related to team staffing and skills required and tracking maturity status
- Coordinate and supervise specialist and external service provider considering the systemic, interdisciplinary contexts in the product development team in agreement with the superior
- Representing the field of responsibility to internal partners and towards the customer, within the established communication matrix
Product Development
- Analyzing, evaluating and negotiating functional internal and external requirements, as stated by customer, legal restrictions, functional safety or HELLA internal standards or guidelines, and transfer them into the product specification, development and verification strategy
- Ensuring the realization of the product specification, verification and validation strategy in comparison to requirement specifications based on the systematic approach of the V Model
- Creating domain specific concept considering the constrains of overall System Design and the needs of the other domains
- Realizing a robust product and process design by simulations, calculations, a- and b-samples and ensuring implementation of design optimizations of components, groups or systems depending on the results
- Validating the technical concepts with FOT parts until the final product (e.g., process parameters) is confirmed and prepare the homologation process of the Product
- Analyzing and interpreting the results from verification and validation and defining the appropriate measure as needed
- Steering close loop activities for the functional domain to increase maturity level of verification as lessons learned for future projects, in agreement with the superior
- Supporting the domain specific project topics towards internal and external stakeholders. Fostering active communication of domain topics into development team
- Carrying over end-to-end responsibility for development topics over whole product lifecycle
- Ensuring compliance to processes and guidelines and proactive communication if pain-points identified within the network
Change Management
- Defining and planning the configuration management for the overall product in terms of own domain, if necessary, initiating and integrating additional entities in agreement with the superior
- Evaluating the configuration, detailing technical solutions with sustainable processing, evaluating the internal and external impact of the triggered changes. Documentation by using of existing tools along V-Model
- Capturing, analyzing and evaluating new requirements from customers in collaboration with involved parties; developing appropriate solutions in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Performing risk assessment for implementation under consideration of timing and budget
Expert tasks
- Creating and supporting the design process, proactively in relation to the area of activity
- Collecting the existing lessons learned and addressing to the design team and stakeholders
- Supporting the creation of training documents and ensuring continuous know-how transfer in the worldwide network and cross functional alignment (e.g., lessons learned)
- Contributing to problem solving during project lifecycle including proper documentation via the given Hella tools
- Supporting continuous, innovative improvement of existing and new processes and technologies as well including (Re-)DtC
Leadership (functional)
- Steering functions & domains via Product Development Team meetings
- Functional lead of the employees in the competence responsibility
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 to 5 years of Work experience
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, analytical and synthetis skills
- Fluent in english
- Global Mindset & exposure to international environment
