As a Development Associate at Cleantech Industry Resources (CIR) in Noida, you will play a crucial role in advancing solar energy initiatives by conducting market research, analyzing policies and regulations, and preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) encompassing technical, financial, and regulatory aspects. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with clients, providing expert guidance, and delivering compelling insights through reports and presentations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing to innovative solutions in the solar energy sector will be key aspects of your role. **Core Responsibilities:** - **Market Research:** Conduct in-depth research to identify opportunities and trends in the US solar energy sector. - **Policy and Regulatory Analysis:** Stay updated on solar energy policies and regulations at federal, state, and local levels. - **Due Diligence:** Prepare comprehensive DPRs covering technical, financial, and regulatory aspects. - **Report Preparation:** Develop clear and insightful reports for stakeholders. - **Presentation Skills:** Communicate complex data effectively through presentations and client meetings. - **Client Engagement:** Collaborate with clients, address inquiries, and provide expert guidance. - **Team Collaboration:** Work with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies. - **Continuous Learning:** Stay current with industry developments and emerging technologies. **Qualification Required:** - **Education:** B. Tech/M. Tech in Energy Technology/ Energy Systems/Renewable Energy. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in software such as PVSyst, Helioscope, and MS Office. Experience in project management and understanding of solar energy systems. - **Experience:** At least 4 years of relevant experience in the solar sector, with consultancy and analyst experience preferred. - **Psychosocial Skills:** Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Management experience and an entrepreneurial mindset are beneficial. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are necessary for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The physical demands of this role include working at a computer for most of the day, participating in conference calls, and occasional travel for team retreats.
