Role Overview

high-ownership, part-time founding role

You will:

• Set up scalable backend infrastructure
• Create CI/CD pipelines
• Manage Kubernetes environments
• Ensure security, reliability, and smooth deployments
• Support both SaaS workloads and AI agent operations

You will directly collaborate with the founding team and help set the long-term engineering foundation.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure (Core)

• Architect and manage AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Build scalable and secure environments for SaaS + AI agent workloads.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins).
• Enable rapid, safe, and consistent releases.

Containers & Orchestration

• Manage and optimize

  Docker

  and

  EKS/ECS

  clusters.
• Ensure reliable scaling for multi-agent systems and API services.

Infra-as-Code & Monitoring

• Write Terraform or CloudFormation for reproducible infrastructure.
• Implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

Security & Compliance

• Enforce identity, access, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance practices.
• Support XeAgent’s enterprise-grade security framework.

Founding-Level Ownership

• Recommend and define tooling, cloud strategy, and DevOps roadmap.
• Make architecture decisions that impact long-term product growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years of DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering experience

• Deep expertise with

  AWS (Must)

• Experience with

  Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

• Strong CI/CD automation experience
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and distributed systems
• Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
• Comfortable working

  12–15 hours/week

  in a high-impact role

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS platforms (ERP/CRM/HRM)
• Experience with AI/ML deployment workloads
• AWS Certifications
• Prior startup/founding team experience
