About the Opportunity

Frappe Tech Lead

For the first two months, the role will be compensated in equity only

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead part-time development efforts using the Frappe Framework.
• Define scalable architectures, coding standards, and development best practices.

• Frappe/ERPNext Development

• Customize and enhance ERPNext modules.
• Develop custom apps, workflows, scripts, and automation features.

• Integrations & Deployment

• Handle third-party API integrations.
• Manage dev and staging environments using Frappe Bench, Docker, and Git.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with the founders and product team.
• Participate in strategic planning and roadmap discussions.
• Mentor junior developers when required.

Required Skills

• Expert-level knowledge of

  Frappe Framework and ERPNext

  .
• Strong in

  Python, JavaScript, Jinja, MySQL/MariaDB

  .
• Experience in

  API integration, automation, and backend logic

  .
• Familiarity with

  bench, Linux servers, Git, Docker

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a

  technical leadership or architect role

  .
• Hands-on with ERP domains such as HR, CRM, Accounting, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of

  DevOps and Cloud deployment

  .
• Startup or product development experience is a plus.

Compensation Structure

• Months 1–2:

  Equity only (founding-level opportunity)

• After Month 2:

  Part-time salary + continued equity
