Job Description

Role Responsibility: Managing day-to-day IT operation of company IT Inventory and asset management with tagging Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, NAS, and firewalls Networking hardware configuration for new setups and management of existing setups Installation and configuration of multiple OS platforms for Server and Client devices. Managing and troubleshooting of Domain environment, File servers, Database Servers and NAS setups. Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, Trouble shooting of Hardware, Software, OS, Network, IP telephony etc. solutions Basic knowledge and hands on with Virtualization platform for installation, management and troubleshooting Basic knowledge and understanding of managing cloud-based email solutions, web hosting, license management and various vendor portal management. Qualifications : Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required In-depth knowledge of operating systems like Windows, Win Server, Linux 2-3 years of Desktop, network administration, or system administration experience System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus Basic knowledge of Hyper-V, virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent Strong knowledge of Desktop troubleshooting and systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols Technical Skills Server management - Installing, configuring, updating, and monitoring servers like DNS, DHCP, VPN, FTP, CCTV Camera, IIS, etc. Networking - Expertise in TCP/IP, switching/routing, subnetting, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, load balancing, proxy, etc. Adding Network design, structure cabling and firewall rule and policy. Monitoring - Server, Desktop, Firewall performance and troubleshooting issues Virtualization - knowledge in VMware, Hyper-V,ESXI to deploy and manage virtual machines and containers- In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Win server internals for administration Cloud platforms - Knowledge of AWS to advantage OS expertise Backup & recovery - Implementing backups, snapshots, replication, and restores to ensure business continuity, create backup job in NAS Soft Skills Communication - Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues Time management - Ability to prioritize critical issues and projects to ensure SLAs are met- Maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation of configurations, issues, processes, and resolutions- Enthusiasm for continuously upgrading skills and keeping up with technological advances Problem-solving - Applying logic and analytical thinking to diagnose and troubleshoot both simple and complex issues Documentation Teamwork - Coordinating with IT teams, managers, and end-users to deliver technology solutions Learning Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹10,037.47 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Shift: Day shift Morning shift Experience: Desktop support: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/07/2025
