We are seeking a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of Weaving design, Prints,

aesthetics, Embroidery, Art and craft. The ideal candidate should also possess expertise in team

management and budget allocation to drive targeted outcomes in production.

We are seeking a Design manager to oversee key design operations, develop and produce craft

samples, and lead team of 6, to achieve cost effective product. This role is central to our organization,

requiring strong leadership, thinking, and a results-oriented mind-set.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

 Lead and manage day-to-day design sampling operations to ensure efficiency and cost

effective production ahead.

 Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve festive based market goals for products.

 Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring hiring budget while optimizing resources.

 Prepare a vendor base and follow up for productions.

 Skill management in team members and getting maximum efficiency from them.

 Coming up with new creations that are required in market and make them cost effective.

 Updating oneself with research about trends and market interests.

 Ensuring proper sampling and approvals.

 Working on the brief discussed with authorities and deliver the best possible outcome.

 Study and recreate the crafts in various forms for different product line.

Skills and qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree / Masters in Design along with Work experience in a textile firm minimum of

3years

-Textile/Fashion Degree or diploma from a good institute -Knowledge of weaving, printing and

embroidery and expertise in some capacity for leading the team.

- Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

-Solid understanding of design operations management and industry trends.

-Proficiency in soft wares that help in designing (adobe suite)
