About the Role:

Design Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the design team in developing creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the strategy, content, and performance marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies and design directions.
• Stay updated with the latest design and digital marketing trends.

Design Execution

• Oversee and contribute to the creation of digital assets including:
• Social media creatives (static posts, carousels, reels, stories, etc.)
• Display ads, banner creatives, and campaign visuals
• Website and landing page designs (UI/UX focus)
• Email marketing templates and infographics
• Brand identity, logos, and style guides
• Ensure all creative output aligns with client requirements and brand guidelines.

Team Management

• Mentor, guide, and manage a team of designers (graphic, motion, UI/UX).
• Review team members’ work and provide constructive feedback.
• Allocate tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct brainstorming and creative review sessions.

Collaboration & Client Interaction

• Work closely with account managers and clients to understand design needs.
• Present creative concepts and final designs to clients when required.
• Ensure smooth communication between clients, designers, and marketing teams.

Project & Workflow Management

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Create design workflows and maintain an organized file system.
• Ensure timely delivery of all creative assets.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a digital marketing agency/design role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Canva, etc.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and web design trends.
• Motion graphics and video editing skills are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight timelines.

• Client satisfaction and approval rates.
• Quality and originality of creative output.
• Team performance and productivity.
• Contribution to campaign performance through impactful designs.

Task List (Day-to-Day):

• Plan and assign design tasks based on project briefs.
• Review & approve social media creatives before client submission.
• Work on high-priority campaigns & pitches.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designer for landing page and website design.
• Brainstorm new visual ideas for ad campaigns (static + video).
• Conduct quality checks to maintain creative standards.
• Mentor junior designers through feedback and skill development.
• Attend client meetings (where design input is needed).
• Maintain design resources, brand libraries, and templates.
