About the Role

dynamic and result-oriented Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Process Engineering

• Design and develop

  ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD

  , and other industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Prepare and finalize

  PFD, P&ID, HFD

  , mass balance, hydraulic design, and equipment sizing.
• Perform pipeline sizing, pump selection, chemical dosing calculations, and BOQ preparation.
• Create

  3D models

  , plant layouts, GA drawings, and piping layouts.
• Ensure alignment of design outputs with standards, best practices, and project specifications.

2. Proposal Engineering

• Prepare detailed

  techno-commercial proposals

  for water/wastewater treatment systems.
• Estimate costs, select appropriate equipment, and perform process optimization.
• Prepare proposals for

  turnkey projects, retrofit jobs, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

  .

3. Project Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate with execution, procurement, and vendor teams to ensure process compliance.
• Review vendor drawings, perform design validation, and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Provide support during fabrication, erection, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and quality records.

4. Innovation & Quality Assurance

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and design optimization.
• Keep updated with advances in water and wastewater treatment technologies.

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech / M.Tech in

  Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

  , or related field.

• 2–6 years

  of experience in design and process engineering for water/wastewater treatment systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, or equivalent CAD/design tools.
• Solid understanding of P&ID, PFD, equipment design, fabrication drawings, and layout engineering.
• Strong communication, documentation, and client coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle projects from sizing → design → costing → proposal.
