Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Rajkot Company: Manufactring Company Department: Engineering/Design Reports To: Engineering Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer with expertise in Solid Edge, NX, Creo, and AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machine and furniture manufacturing, particularly with sheet metal and fabrication. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mechanical and furniture products, ensuring efficient production and functional performance. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Create and develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge, NX, Creo, and AutoCAD. Design mechanical components and furniture structures, focusing on machine manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication. Develop detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Project Management: Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and generate design concepts based on client needs. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion. Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct design validation through simulations and real-world testing. Perform structural analysis and ensure product safety and durability. Quality and Compliance: Adhere to quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Optimize designs for manufacturability, reducing production time and material usage. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and marketing. Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and production staff. Qualifications And Skills Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Solid Edge, NX, Creo, and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. Experience with machine manufacturing and furniture design. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Design Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
