Design Engineer

Wanted Design Engineers The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing detailed engineering designs for wastewater treatment systems including STP, ETP, RO, and WTP. The role involves preparing 2D and 3D designs, process drawings, and equipment layouts, ensuring all designs meet client requirements, safety standards, and project timelines. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Design & Engineering Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PDFs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and General Arrangement (GA) Drawings. Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling of piping, structures, and equipment layouts using Auto Cad and relevant software. Carry out hydraulic design, pipeline sizing, and selection of pumps, blowers, and valves. Develop detailed fabrication and installation drawings for project execution. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), equipment datasheets, and technical specifications. 2. Process & Technical Support Provide process and design support for STP, ETP, WTP, and RO systems. Support proposal and estimation teams with technical inputs and layout drawings. Perform process calculations for key treatment units and assist in optimization of designs. 3. Documentation & Compliance Maintain detailed design documentation, equipment lists, and technical reports. Ensure designs comply with environmental standards, safety norms, and client specifications. Support project and site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning. 4. Coordination & Communication Work closely with the Procurement, Project Execution, and Sales teams. Coordinate with vendors for design approval and technical clarifications. Participate in client meetings and provide technical presentations when required. Skills & Competencies Required:Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP, and RO design. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, 3D design software (such as Solid Works, Revit, or Plant 3D). Good understanding of hydraulic and process design. Excellent skills in MS Excel and basic engineering calculations. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Education & Experience: B.E / B.Tech in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. 1–5 years of experience in design of wastewater treatment plants.( Added advantage) Knowledge in 2D and 3D drawing preparation is mandatory.
