Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Detail Engineer based in Noida. The role involves preparing detailed engineering drawings, fabrication detailing, and equipment layouts for Air Pollution Control Systems such as Bag Filters, Dryers, Wet Scrubbers, ESPs, and Structural Components. The Detail Engineer will be responsible for developing precise engineering documentation, coordinating with project and production teams, conducting site feasibility checks, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and quality requirements.

The role also includes weight estimation, data recording, and technical coordination, supporting smooth project execution from design to fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication and engineering drawings using AutoCAD / Inventor
• Develop regular and irregular shapes such as cones, transition pieces, bends, and complex geometries
• Create structural fabrication details and assembly layouts
• Coordinate with project, production, and quality teams for design clarification
• Conduct site visits to assess equipment feasibility and installation constraints
• Perform weight estimation and material take-offs
• Maintain structured engineering records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Indian, American, and European engineering standards where applicable
• Support continuous improvement in design accuracy and fabrication efficiency

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in detailed engineering or fabrication design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools
• Prior experience in Air Pollution Control Systems preferred (Bag Filters, Dryer, Wet Scrubber, ESP, etc.)

Desired Skills

• Strong expertise in heavy fabrication detailing and development of complex shapes
• Experience in structural detailing and manufacturing drawings
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and industry standards
• Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel for site feasibility assessments
