Job Title:

About the Role

We are looking for a Design Engineer with strong expertise in FEA using ANSYS. The role involves working on structural analysis assignments across marine, oil and gas and industrial engineering domains. The ideal candidate has solid analytical skills, deep understanding of engineering mechanics and hands-on experience with complex FEA simulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Transient Shock, Harmonic and Random Vibration analyses in ANSYS.
Conduct Static Structural and Buckling evaluations as per relevant standards.
Shock and vibration analysis.
Build and validate detailed models for welded joints and bolted connections.
Carry out fatigue assessments using ANSYS and applicable design codes.
Identify and address hotspots and propose mitigation measures.
Interpret engineering drawings and support structural design requirements.
Hand calculation.
Prepare clear and detailed FEA reports.
Apply first principles of engineering mechanics in all analyses.

Required Qualifications & Skills

BTech or MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience in ANSYS (FEA).
Shock and vibration analysis
Expertise in vibration analysis, fatigue, buckling and structural evaluations.
Good understanding of welded and bolted joint behaviour in simulations.
Hand calculation for the FEA.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design documents.
Strong analytical mind-set with the ability to work independently.
