Ranjit Singh Rozi Shiksha Kendra (RSK) is a visionary initiative launched in 2019 through a generous donation from Late Shri Ranjit Singh, an IIT Kanpur alumnus of the 1965 batch. Driven by his dream of 'Prosperity for All', RSK works to transform rural India by empowering youth with education, skills, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Our initiatives include model village development, advanced training centres with smart classrooms, skill-based courses, organic farming projects, village tourism promotion, and water resource management. Role Overview

Rozi Shiksha Kendra (RSK) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Deputy Project Manager to lead and oversee design projects, timely reporting, connect to rural artisanary clusters, tie up with designers, enhance brand equity, and ensure transparency in all processes. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience from the Development or Design sector and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Reporting to: Location: Rozi Shiksha Kendra , IIT Kanpur, Kanpur

Key Responsibilities

1) Project Management

· Plan, implement, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.

· Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Identify craft clusters suitable for design interventions

· Plan workshops and training courses

· Coordinate with internal teams, artisans, and designers for smooth execution.

2) Client & Stakeholder Relations

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

· Understand client requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.

· Provide timely updates and progress reports.

3) Brand Building & Fundraising

· Develop strategies to enhance organizational visibility and brand equity.

· Identify, approach, and secure potential funding opportunities.

· Represent the organization at events, forums, and networking platforms.

4) Transparency & Reporting

· Ensure transparent communication and operations.

· Prepare accurate, timely, and well-structured project and financial reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Management, Development Studies, Design, or a related field.
• Atleast 5 years of relevant project management experience in the development or design industry.
• Proficiency in Hindi or English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently while leading diverse teams.
