Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, your role will involve supporting various engineering activities such as testing, FAT, commissioning, and RCA. Your responsibilities will include: - Carrying out Engineering review, Testing, FAT, and commissioning. - Knowledge of Protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various make Relays, BCU etc. - Supporting RCA, FMEA, Diagnosis of all CRP-SAS-Communication. - Coordinating all control & protection related issues on a day-to-day basis. - Assisting the site team in testing, commissioning, and O&M issues in real-time. - Reviewing Protection scheme, requirements, setting, coordination, configuration during Engineering design, Commissioning stage. - Reviewing engineering and O&M aspects of Protection, SAS, and interfacing. - Monitoring & reviewing Periodic testing of control & protection. - Maintaining Database & Record with analytics for Testing and maintaining of substation equipment, Protection System, SAS, communication. - Conducting protection audits of all substations. - Optimizing inventory and procuring new inventories as per the allocated area's needs. - Ensuring quality assurance, safety, and environmental standards through a well-defined review mechanism. - Checking all substation protection, SAS, communication scheme. - Understanding Electrical EHV substation, EHV Transmission line, Power plants, plant-related equipment, and Auxiliaries. - Maintaining data base for system, equipment, Tripping, occurrences. - Monitoring substation events and preparing relevant reports/data to support RCA & Troubleshooting. - Collecting data for Occurrence Analysis (RCA), Reporting, Trouble shooting. - Maintaining inventory at an optimum level. - Ensuring zero mal-operation and human error. - Implementing BPTs like IMS / Statutory AUDIT/ LAM-SAP etc. - Bench marking O&M, RCA, FMEA, and testing practices. - Responding to emergency contingencies and disaster management. Your Qualifications: - BE / B. Tech in Electrical. - Experience: 3 to 6 Years.,
