 Deputy Manager - Activity Business 
 Job Purpose 
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.
  • Achieving & exceeding business goals and targets for Rural Two Wheeler Loans.
  • Managing and grooming the team to achieve their respective targets.

  •  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieving & exceeding business goals and targets for Rural Two Wheeler Loans.
  • Creating a strong and compliant sales culture to drive business.
  • Sales force management, data management, and efficient use of call center leads.
  • Dealer visits along with sales manager/FOS.
  • Portfolio management with a focus on 99% zero bucket collections.
  • Maintaining FEMI at 9% across location and span.
  • Monthly 5 days of location travel.
  • Ensure team's adherence to sales governance and compliance processes.
  • Adherence to customer delivery TAT.
  • Ensure implementation of promotional plans and contests; suggest new and innovative promotion plans for the area of work.
  • Recruiting and retaining high performers.
  • Team management and grooming of the team to achieve their respective targets.
  • Managing the delinquency of the business sourced to ensure health of portfolio.
  • Excel and PowerPoint presentation knowledge and skills.
  • Daily review with ABSM regarding projections and activity plan for the day.
  • Reviews with ABSM on projection versus delivery daily, to spur planning for the next day.
  • Ensure execution of the defined activity plan for customer visits by the team during the day.
  • Assist in collections in HTS cases for buckets X and 1, as well as higher buckets.
  • Provide feedback to under-performing team members; seek to understand causes and provide timely and appropriate input and support.
  • Nominate team members for rewards and recognition commensurate with their achievements; appreciate team members appropriately in internal forums as relevant.
  • Resolve issues regarding documentation.
  • Decide on approaching customers from risk-prone geographical areas and profiles, and stop approaching specific profiles based on delinquency patterns.
  • Plan for business expansionidentify and map new areas, including fraud likelihoods, derive projections; share and discuss with branch teams and ASSCs; take inputs to make action plans clear; share projections, action plans, and budgets with RSM, seeking approval.
  • Cascade finalised plans received from RSM to the team; derive aligned short-term performance benchmarks such as DRR; plan with team to achieve them.
  • Periodically monitor team on productivity metrics; assist in resolving issues; monitor month-on-month productivity, WIRR, insurance penetration, CC and CW lead penetration.
  • Shortlist from among initial candidate lists, make recommendations of known candidates; conduct initial interview with shortlisted candidates, providing comments as per format and recommendations.
  • Review and discuss achievement with team periodically; conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews per team member, providing feedback for their improvement.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  •  Education:  Graduation / MBA
  •  Experience: 
  • Graduation with 4 to 6 years or MBA with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success & achievement orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive channel performance and profitability.
  • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high performance environment.
  • People & relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Affirmative in nature, strong leadership skills, clarity of thought, and perseverance.
