Role Description

The Deputy Housekeeper will support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations for a high-profile client in Nathdwara. The role ensures exceptional cleanliness, guest comfort, high service standards, staff coordination, and smooth functioning of housekeeping activities. The position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to maintain luxury-level service.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Supervise daily housekeeping activities including cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of all assigned areas.

Ensure all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and safety.

Assist in planning and organizing housekeeping schedules, staff duty rosters, and work assignments.

Conduct regular inspections of rooms and premises; report and follow up on corrective actions.

Staff Leadership & Training

Supervise, guide, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver premium service.

Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing staff regarding cleaning techniques, grooming, and service etiquette.

Monitor staff performance, discipline, and grooming standards.

Guest & Client Service

Maintain excellent relationships with the client and guests; promptly address requests and service requirements.

Ensure complete discretion and confidentiality while interacting with the client and family.

Handle special cleaning requests, VIP setups, and personalized service preferences.

Inventory & Resource Management

Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, guest amenities, and housekeeping equipment.

Ensure timely procurement and optimal utilization of resources.

Maintain accurate records of stock, usage, and wastage.

Quality Control & Safety

Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, safety protocols, and SOPs.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for any repair or upkeep needs.

Implement housekeeping audits and quality checks regularly.


Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management preferred.

4+ years of experience in housekeeping, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in luxury hotels, high-end residences, or premium hospitality setups preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide high-touch service.
