As a Deputy General Manager - Production at B. Braun Group, you will play a vital role in leading manufacturing operations, team development, and capacity planning, ensuring continuous improvement, financial targets, and audit readiness while strictly maintaining QMS compliance (Validation, Investigations, CAPA) and reviewing all batch documentation.
Your key responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure the successful completion of Quality Management System (QMS) activities like Qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), Process Validation, and media-fill studies. This includes investigating and resolving OOT/OOS results and market complaints to identify root causes and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Review and approve Batch Manufacturing and Packing Records, and ensure all process validations, control equipment calibrations, and risk assessments for operations, equipment, and material movement are performed, recorded, and mitigated.
Manage the manufacturing team by securing headcount, selecting, training, and developing skilled manpower, creating Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and cascading department targets as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for efficiency, quality, and safety.
Coordinate with Plant Management and OPEX for annual capacity planning, setting productivity and yield KPIs to achieve global benchmarks, and evaluating/securing investment approvals for equipment additions and upgrades.
Contribute to financial objectives by co-owning Non-Quality Cost (NQC) targets, meeting agreed-upon cost-saving goals, and executing approved investments within the set budget and timeline.
Maintain all-time audit readiness through proper housekeeping, hygiene, document availability (SOPs, Logbooks), and adherence to procedures. Drive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing changes in equipment/SOPs to enhance yield, efficiency, quality, cost, and safety, while also enabling Technology Transfer for new products.
