JOB SUMMARY:

As the Deputy General Manager - Plant Finance, you will play a critical role and will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, controls, and systems at our Sanand manufacturing plant. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant with a deep understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and a proven track record of leadership in manufacturing plant finance. Your primary role will be ensuring Financial and Operational controls at the unit, set up financial systems and processes, provide strategic leadership, and operate in a startup mode as we establish our presence in Sanand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plant Finance Leadership: Lead the finance team at the Sanand plant, ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial operations and controls.

- Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) to ensure compliance and best practices in financial reporting.

- System Implementation: Establish and optimize financial systems and processes, enhancing efficiency and transparency in the plant's financial operations.

- Startup Mode: Embrace the startup environment, actively participating in the setup of finance operations and adapting to evolving requirements.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on the plant's annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.

- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

- Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making for the Sanand plant.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing plant finance and controls within the manufacturing industry.

- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
