Deputy Director (ERP)

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP System Management: Assist in the overall management of the ERP system, including configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of modules.

2. Process Improvement: Collaborate with departments to analyze business processes and implement ERP solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

3. User Support and Training: Provide support to users across the university, conduct training sessions, and develop documentation to ensure effective use of the ERP system.

4. Integration and Reporting: Work on integrating ERP with other systems as needed and develop reports to support decision-making across the university.

5. Project Management: Assist in managing ERP-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

6. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various stakeholders including faculty, staff, and administration to understand requirements and address concerns related to ERP.

7. System Upgrades and Maintenance: Participate in planning and executing ERP system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ERP implementation, management, or support, preferably in a higher education setting.

3. Skills:

- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments.

Desired Skills

- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.

- Knowledge of higher education business processes.

- Change management and training skills.
