Deputy Chief Information Officer - Enterprise Platforms

As the Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) at Chandigarh, you will play a crucial role in aligning IT initiatives with the business strategy across the Group's operations in manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and supply chain. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the CIO in formulating and executing the enterprise IT strategy - Driving digital transformation across global supply chain, manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce - Leading IT planning, budgeting, and execution aligned with business objectives - Collaborating with C-suite leadership on technology investments, innovation, and transformation roadmaps In addition to the strategic leadership role, your key responsibilities will involve: - Overseeing IT infrastructure, application management, cybersecurity, and compliance - Establishing IT service delivery frameworks and ensuring SLA adherence - Leading IT audits, risk assessments, and cybersecurity posture improvements - Driving implementation of Industry 4.0/Smart Factory initiatives and enabling omnichannel retail and customer experience Furthermore, you will be responsible for: - Overseeing enterprise platforms like SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar - Managing IT procurement lifecycle including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring - Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of IT professionals Your qualifications should include: - Strong understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and B2B/B2C retail models - Excellent program management and leadership skills - Deep expertise in ERP, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies - Proven ability to align IT strategy with business needs - Effective communicator with executive presence and stakeholder management capability Educational Background: - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; a Masters degree is considered an advantage Analytical Thinking: - Strong ability to interpret data and leverage insights to guide strategic decisions Negotiation & Communication: - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and drive results Your performance will be measured based on various metrics including IT project delivery, uptime and system availability, cybersecurity compliance, business user satisfaction, and cost optimization.
