Deputy Branch Manager

Role Overview: As a Deputy Branch Manager/ Branch Manager at Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company in Rajkot, your primary role is to enable the achievement of key business outcomes, build a quality Agency, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and drive the people agenda to achieve desired outcomes. You will be responsible for owning the business plan for the branch, engaging and motivating the team of Agents, recruiting quality resources, setting goals for Agency Managers, and driving team training and development. Additionally, you will identify potential business opportunities, manage the branch budget, and maintain a win-win relationship with other channels. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve Business Plans: - Own top line and bottom line targets for the team - Internalize company philosophy and business strategy - Engage, motivate, and activate the team of Agents - Drive incentive schemes to exceed income benchmarks - Team Building: - Recruit quality Unit Managers/Agency Managers - Set goals for all Agency Managers in the region - Regularly review, monitor, and mentor the team - Provide training to equip the team with necessary skill sets - Identify and groom future leaders - Business Expansion: - Identify potential business pockets in the branch - Appoint Agents in these locations - Liaise with the Home Office for support - Budget Management: - Own resource and expense budget for the Branch - Drive R&R schemes and implement branch-level activities - Ensure compliance with company norms and regulators - Maintain win-win relationships with other channels Qualifications Required: - Education: - Graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute - Preferably Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management - Experience: - 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial services distribution - 2+ years of team handling experience - Insurance experience preferred Additional Details (if any): Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between Fettle Tone LLP and the Bupa Group, providing specialized healthcare services for over 70 years.
