Deputy Branch Manager

Role Overview: As the Deputy Branch Manager/Branch Manager at Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company in Rajkot, your primary role is to enable the achievement of key business outcomes, build a quality Agency, ensure adherence to statutory and compliance requirements, and drive the people agenda to achieve people outcomes. You will be responsible for owning the business plan for the branch, recruiting and managing a team of Agents, ensuring team productivity and engagement, driving incentive schemes, team building, business expansion, and maintaining branch discipline and culture. Key Responsibilities: - Own and drive the business plan for the branch to achieve both top line and bottom line targets - Internalize the company's management philosophy and business strategy within the branch - Engage, motivate, and ensure productivity of the team of Agents through strong relationships - Recruit and manage quality resources like Unit Managers/Agency Managers - Set goals for Agency Managers and regularly monitor their progress - Provide training and mentorship to the team to enhance their skill sets - Ensure adherence to the company's defined sales process - Identify and groom future leaders within the team - Identify potential business opportunities in the branch jurisdiction and appoint Agents to procure business - Own the resource and expense budget for the Branch - Drive recognition and reward schemes and marketing activities at the branch level - Support Unit Managers and Agents in liaison with the Home Office - Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and maintain a win-win relationship with other channels Qualification Required: - Graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institute - Preferably Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management - 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial services distribution - 2+ years of team handling experience - Insurance experience is preferred Additional Company Details: Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between Fettle Tone LLP and the Bupa Group.
