Job Description Role: SQL Server Database developer Location: Offshore/India Who are we looking for? We are looking for 6+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Development, who will be responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of SQL databases . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of relational database theory, SQL queries and procedures, and experience working with large datasets. Technical Skills ï‚· Proven work experience as a SQL Server Database Developer ï‚· In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) ï‚· Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services ï‚· Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications ï‚· Hands on experience with SQL Server ï‚· Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL/NewSQL databases ï‚· Strong written and oral communication skills ï‚· Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills ï‚· Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. ï‚· Investment Management experience in the past Responsibilities ï‚· Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views ï‚· Define and implement database schemas and normalization levels ï‚· Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL ï‚· Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements ï‚· Implement data integrity and security protocols ï‚· Collaborate with developers on database design and integration with software applications ï‚· Provide data management support to users ï‚· Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases ï‚· Prepare documentations and specifications ï‚· Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Qualification ï‚· Somebody who has at least 6+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Development . ï‚· Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college Show more Show less
