What would you do? Help clients transform their compliance function from reactive to proactive through an intelligent compliance operating model powered by data, intelligent technologies and talentControl Testing involves evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls within an organization. This process checks whether controls are working as intended to prevent errors, fraud, and ensure compliance with regulations. The goal is to identify weaknesses and improve the reliability of financial reporting, operational & ITGC processes to ensure audit readiness.Conduct testing tasks within Agile models and integration processes and manage development sprints.
What are we looking for? Own the following tasks in the Risk & Controls Team in support of the IT Controls Manager:?Assist control owners in identifying and analyzing inherent risks and controls within IT applications and supporting infrastructure?Responsible for quality review and testing of prioritized IT controls aligned to the control testing plan ?Ensure new or updated test scripts meet standards?Ensure quality standards are met when performing testing of Control Effectiveness, including:oCoordinate with process/control owners on data/access needs and sample selection oConducting walkthroughs of process and control designoInspecting evidence to ensure control activities are performed accurately and consistently oComplete control test scripts, gather and document appropriate evidence with resultsoConcluding on the Design/Operating Effectiveness of each internal controloFor those controls assessed as ineffective, notifying the responsible party that an action plan is required.?Report and escalate control gaps and identified issues to supervisor.?Provide input into control gap remediations and issue documentation?Update test results into GRC and control testing workflow tools?Oversee standard email notifications / communications to facilitate the proper and timely execution of the control??s procedures (document request lists, workshop invites, root cause analyses, etc.)?Support Scoping and Prioritization activities based on risk assessment of applications and supporting infrastructure?Manage discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on test planning and risk mitigation strategies.?Update Risk Control Matrix (RCM) documents based on changes to processes and controls?Participate in IT general and application controls, technology risk management, application development and hosting, database management, and IT vendor management as needed?Ensure reports are accurately prepared and provided to relevant parties in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:

The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals? Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor? May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture? Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments? Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside? Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture?
