Our client specializes in recruiting experts for top AI labs and is based in San Francisco, CA. Backed by top investors, it is a talent marketplace powered by AI models to predict human ability.

About role:

Client is seeking Technical Project (Delivery) Managers to propel its growth by managing complex projects within the life cycle of our engagement with customers, many of whom use client's platform to find domain experts to build datasets to train and evaluate AI models. Using resumes, AI interviews, and online profiles, our client matches talent with the best opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Engagement Managers to guide projects through all phases, from setup to completion, by establishing necessary frameworks, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring objectives are met within set timelines.
• Develop and oversee sourcing strategies to attract domain experts for AI model development projects initiated by prominent foundational AI organizations.
• Administer complete talent evaluation processes to confirm candidates meet precise client standards, leveraging Mercor’s recruitment platform and a range of external sourcing methods.
• Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams, including Operations, to implement critical initiatives involving the creation and analysis of data pipelines, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, converting client needs into actionable deliverables and ensuring their effective execution.
• Manage the onboarding process and maintain direct engagement with domain specialists on customized assignments, ensuring these align with both project requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Background in research, consulting, data science, or business. Experience in a technical domain (e.g., data science, computer science), or demonstrated learning, is a plus.
• Familiarity with using data analysis tools like Excel and project management software.
• A “nice-to-have,” but not a requirement, is a proven track record of managing client interactions and recruitment processes.
