Role: Delivery Lead – AI Products & Enterprise Implementations
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of AI-driven software products with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and quality.
- Establish delivery governance frameworks, processes, and engineering best practices across multiple projects.
- Lead execution across multi-technology streams — Java, Angular, Python, AI/ML, QA automation, and cloud engineering.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to align delivery with product strategy.
- Oversee architecture and design reviews, ensuring adherence to design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Implement best practices for microservices, modular design, and scalable deployments.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and release automation using Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle.
- Ensure rigorous testing and QA through tools such as JUnit, Selenium, Mockito, TestNG.
- Integrate ML/LLM components into the Java ecosystem while ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Monitor and optimise delivery metrics (velocity, defect density, quality benchmarks, productivity).
- Manage risks, execution timelines, and client expectations across global stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide engineering leads, architects, and project managers to strengthen the delivery function.
Required Experience & Expertise
- 12–18 years in software delivery management across enterprise-scale or product-based environments.
- Strong background in tech-oriented roles throughout career (Engineering, Architecture, Delivery).
- Proven experience managing multi-technology delivery teams in a global environment.
- Experience in delivery governance, client communication, and complex rollout management.
Technical Requisites
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Preference for graduates from premier institutes (IITs/IISc/NITs) or candidates with M.Tech/PhD from recognised institutions.
- OR strong experience working in AI product-based companies for a major part of their career.
Tech Expertise
- Strong hands-on understanding of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with Python, ML components, and integrating AI/LLM systems with backend services.
- Experience in SQL/RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate / JPA.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube.
- Strong grasp of design patterns, scalable architecture, system design.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, Mockito).
- Exposure to performance engineering, distributed systems, caching, and fault-tolerant designs.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
