Job Description

Defined Benefit (DB) Project Coordination Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor defined benefit system implementation and support projects.
  • Validate project requirements and translate them into executable tasks and test cases.
  • Allocate resources, track timelines, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Facilitate communication among engineering, systems, and client service teams.
  • Oversee quality review stages: UAT, peer review, risk review, and final promotion.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized implementation processes and audit controls.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in onboarding new client plans.


Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of DB administration experience

    , including benefit calculations and plan setups.

  • 4+ years of project coordination/management

    experience in a technical or operations-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of

    defined benefit plan structures

    , regulatory requirements, and compliance factors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.
  • Proficient in

    Microsoft Office

    (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Access and/or SQL Server is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Business Administration, Information Systems

    , or related discipline preferred.
